Job Descriptions:

• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities and ensure they are carried out according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of construction workers and trade contractors to ensure efficient and smooth execution of construction tasks.
• Review and interpret detailed architectural and engineering plans to ensure compliance with structural requirements and building codes.
• Perform regular inspections of ongoing construction to identify and resolve any issues or deviations from the plans.
• Manage and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion and within allocated costs.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to address any project-related concerns, resolve conflicts, and provide updates on project progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures on the construction site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project-related documentation, including site reports, progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of required construction materials and equipment.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior site staff, including training on construction best practices and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience in construction management.
• Proven experience working as a site supervisor on structural construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles, building codes, and construction practices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ability to interpret detailed architectural and engineering plans and specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address construction issues and changes effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
